Loss of heating can be a significant emergency for a homeowner, particularly if they are elderly. Time is, therefore, of the essence and being able to identify and source the correct part as soon as possible becomes of paramount importance. Strategically located ‘drop boxes’ at branches of City Plumbing Supplies (CPS) make it possible to place orders before 8pm for collection at 8am, across 300 locations. The popularity of this service is driving continued investment with the roll-out on track to reach 440 branches by the end of the year. The drop box service uses a specialist courier service to ensure orders arrive over-night, ready for collection as soon as the trade counter opens. This includes orders placed on Friday evening for pick-up on Saturday morning. Not only is this an excellent value added service, but it will prove essential during the busy heating season.
