AMBIENTE‘S NEW CIRCOMAX PUMPSET
The CircoMax pumpset from Ambiente is a specialist
pumping and blending unit for underfloor heating
manifolds. Incorporating the latest Grundfos pumping
technology in the form of the UPM3-Auto pump, this
product has greater pumping capacity than the previous
model, allowing underfloor heating pipework loops to be
run longer, without compromising heat output.
The pump can be rotated through 90 degrees, creating a slim overall profile,
which can be fitted within slim manifold cabinets. Ambiente has increased the
range of the blending valve, to cater for every situation, including being able
to run the system at a low temperature during commissioning. A temperature
gauge on the flow bar allows quick and visual check of flow temperature in the
KESTON BOILERS LAUNCHES ENHANCED
Keston Boilers has announced an improved version of their
Keston 22mm System Filter. Developed with market leaders
Adey, the 22mm System Filter is for use with Keston Combi and System boilers.
The filter provides protection to heating systems against the damaging effects of
magnetite and non-magnetic debris.
Installers will benefit from the System Filter’s enhancements as it is equipped with
a quick-release trigger. The servicing options have been improved with its design,
such as the low profile drain valve, meaning the System Filter can be serviced more
efficiently and does not need to be fully removed if required.
Complex installations have been made easier with the System Filter’s design, its
360-degree rotational valves accommodating vertical or horizontal pipework flow and
it is supplied with quality isolation valves. www.keston.co.uk

VIESSMANN WILL LAUNCH NEXT
GENERATION FUEL CELL BOILER
Viessmann will launch its new Vitovalor PT2 fuel cell micro combined heat and
power (mCHP) boiler at this year’s Installer2019, May 7-9 at the Ricoh Arena
Coventry, and the All-Energy Show in Glasgow on May 15-16, 2019 at SEC Glasgow.
Under the new, stricter EU energy labelling scale, which comes into force in
October 2019, Vitovalor PT2 will have the highest possible Energy-related
Product (ErP) rating of A+++. This corresponds to an annual seasonal efficiency
of up to 192%, making it a serious alternative to heat pump systems. Not only
is the Vitovalor easier than a heat pump to add to an existing heating system, it
has a 40,000 kWh heat load demand, double that of an air source heat pump, and
generates electricity as well as heat. It can generate enough electricity to cover
the basic demands of an average household, save up to 40% of household energy
consumption and reduce CO2 emissions by up to 30% compared to separate heat
and power generation.
Now with fully-integrated hydraulics and a footprint of just 0.72m2, the new
Vitovalor comes in pre-assembled modules that are exceptionally easy to install.
The unit includes a 220-litre integrated stainless steel hot water cylinder that
replaces its predecessor’s 45-litre cylinder. This makes it more suitable for larger
properties. The new Vitovalor is now available in four heating outputs: 11, 19, 25
and 30 kW. www.viessmann.co.uk
ARISTON EXPANDS ONE SERIES RANGE
Ariston has strengthened its ONE Series range of high-performance gas
condensing boilers with the introduction of two new flagship models: Alteas
ONE Net and Genus ONE Net. Both boilers feature built-in Wi-Fi and digital
timer programming, while they are also supplied with a 12-year manufacturer’s
warranty as standard.
The premium model is the Alteas ONE Net, which boasts a beautiful black finish
and Ultrasafe glass panel, while
the new line-up is completed by
the Genus ONE Net. Both boilers
are supplied with Ariston’s Cube
RF control, ready for connection
to the Ariston Net smartphone
app. Plus, using the boilers
with the supplied controls also
ensures they are ‘A+’ ErP rated
for optimum energy efficiency.
As with previous models in
Ariston’s ONE Series range,
the new boilers benefit from
the patented stainless steel,
continuous coil XtraTechTM
heat exchanger, alongside
low NOx ratings (from 33mg/
kWh). In addition, all units are
‘Boiler Plus’ ready straight out
of the box, thanks to a number
of features including built-in

ARMSTRONG LAUNCHES NEW IPS
ARMSTRONG FLUID TECHNOLOGY
Armstrong Fluid Technology has announced the release of the new
Integrated Pumping System (IPS 4000), an automation solution for
commercial HVAC pumping stations of up to 8 pumps and 16 zones.
The new IPS 4000 automates and optimises multi-pump installations
in a range of different plant configurations. Providing sequences for variable-primary,
secondary or tertiary pumping system applications, it delivers significant energy
savings, using Armstrong’s patented Parallel SensorlessTM Pump Control technology.
Pre-configured to leverage the capabilities of Design Envelope (the technology embedded
in Armstrong pumps) the new IPS 4000 offers fast and simple setup for the most costeffective
and efficient pump control results. Designed for control of multiple pumps in
both heating and cooling HVAC applications, it is capable of maximising the performance
profiles of up to 8 variable speed pumps. www.armstrongfluidtechnology.com
