enclosures to its Kinedo portfolio, the
Kinesmart. Swift and easy to install and with
seven different options, there’s a Kinesmart

Vaillant has unveiled two brand new
products that have been manufactured
at the business’ UK headquarters in
Belper, Derbyshire. The new ecoTEC
plus 48kW and 64kW are the first boilers
manufactured in Belper that will enable
both domestic and commercial installers
to provide tailored solutions to their
customers. This decision was driven by a
continual growing demand in the UK for
the ecoTEC plus 46kW and 65kW boilers,
which were originally introduced to the
market back in 2008. Both boilers were
suitable for domestic and commercial
applications, and installers where
quick to recognise the efficiency and
benefits that these products offered to
their business and their customers. The
ecoTEC plus 46kW and 65kW are said to
have become firm favourites with both
domestic and commercial installers, but
with the two models being on the market
for 10 years, Vaillant decided that it was time for an upgrade. Klaus Jesse, UK managing

Vaillant has unveiled two new products
to market, which have been developed to
serve both the domestic and commercial
markets. The ecoTEC plus 48kW and
64kW replace the hugely successful
ecoTEC plus 46kW and 65kW wall-hung
boiler range that was launched to the
market in 2008. The new products are
the first high output boilers of its kind to
be released by Vaillant in over 10 years.
The launch of ecoTEC 48kW and 64kW
will allow domestic installers to provide
lighter, smaller and more compact
solutions than ever before. Customers
will also be able to reap the benefits
of greater efficiencies of ErP A+ rated.
The ecoTEC plus 48kW and 64kW will
also represent a landmark moment in
Vaillant’s light commercial offer to its
loyal installers. The new products have
been developed in response to rising
demand for wall-hung boiler solutions
across both commercial and domestic

SMART HEATING GETS SMARTER

Worcester Bosch has launched its first generation of smart
heating and hot water controls with zoning capability, allowing
users to change and control temperatures in different rooms of
a house for maximum comfort and energy efficiency. The Bosch
EasyControl, which replaces Worcester’s Wave, providing a
‘sophisticated, intuitive and attractive solution for users looking
to increase comfort and lower their energy bills.’ Designed to
work via the app, which can be downloaded to as many as ten
different devices per household, the Bosch EasyControl can control heating and hot
water from any external location with a web connection. When paired with Bosch
Smart Radiator Thermostats (or Smart TRVs), the Bosch EasyControl can split rooms,
such as the kitchen and living room, into separate “zones”, all of which can be heated
