71 R A D I ATORS & TOWEL WARMERS Jaga explains why installers should choose energy efficient products and technologies when specifying UK homes and Myson talks up low surface temperature radiators Geyser adds to its colour pallet New Oddo from MHS Radiators has two sides to its story Vasco is launching the revolutionary designer radiator, ONI, which is made of 8mm reinforced aluminium plate, making it the thinnest Vasco radiator ever made. The plate of the ONI hides a winding copper heating tube with minimal water content, which is cut into the rear of the front plate 2mm from the surface. That way, ONI not only achieves its ultra flat design of only 8mm, but due to the rapid interaction between copper and aluminium it is also an energy saving and efficient source of heat. The ONI is available with two optional 'cut-outs' in the same soft rounded design as the radiator, which form hanging space for towels, follow the meandering structure of the heating tube at the back. The ONI without cut-outs is compatible with the Vasco Multi+ towel bar accessory. The ONI weighs only 23 kg (in the largest version), so it is extremely lightweight and can be carried and fitted easily by a single installer. The ONI is equipped with Vasco’s famous central connection, including a patented valve set that simplifies installation. www.vasco.eu www.hpmmag.com December 2016 Reflecting the hot trend in interior design for warm brushed metals, designer heating specialist, Geyser, has introduced three new metallic colours to its 16 strong bespoke colour pallet. The new colours include; galvanised copper, galvanised nickel and metallic brushed brass. The new colours are available in Geyser’s Circolo radiator range and the Lineo and Cirtowelo towel rail ranges. Alex Ramsay sales and marketing director, said: “We are always researching and following trends within interiors. Warm metals such as copper look like they are here to stay and not just with saucepans. “We believe that they will be a great seller for us. They look stunning and really make a statement piece for any room.” Prices start at £377 for a Cirtowelo towel rail in metallic galvanised nickel. A Circolo central heating radiator in metallic brushed brass starts at £401. Geyser sells to both trade and consumer via: www.geyser.co.uk and from two showrooms in Bolton, Gtr Manchester and Swindon, Wiltshire. The new Oddo from MHS Radiators has a dual personality, with its semi-oval tubes offering two mounting positions. On one side, a flat-fronted profile presents an edgy and contemporary surface, while the reverse side has a softer, curvier exterior. Whichever option is chosen, the end result is a striking towel rail offering excellent heat outputs. Oddo is a steel towel warmer boasting horizontal elements measuring 40mm x 23mm in diameter. Twelve models are available, in heights from 804mm to 1,884mm and widths spanning from 450mm to 600mm. Outputs range from 433 watts up to 1,242 watts. From an aesthetic perspective, regardless of which way round it is installed, Oddo is available in a stunning array of RAL colours, ranging from Melon Yellow to Strawberry Red, as well as special finishes including Quartz and Opaque Jasmine. In addition, radiators can also be supplied in a choice of textured finishes, ranging from Vintage Brass to Platinum Taftah. In addition to its designer duplicity, Oddo is also capable of operating up to 6-bar and is supplied with a five-year manufacturer’s guarantee as standard. www.mhsradiators.co.uk ONI, the thinnest designer radiator ever (by Vasco) enquiry number 153 enquiry number 154 enquiry number 155
