Sime has developed a new range of boilers that come complete with a 10-year parts and labour warranty as standard.

The new improved range – an upgraded version of the Murelle HE range – now comes complete with a pre-fixing jig and new hydroblock assembly incorporating a motorised diverter valve and flow meter for accurate management of hot water. The pre-fixing jig, comprising filling loop, valves and split tails for central heating and hot water, helps save installation time, while also allowing the installation system to be pressure tested without the boiler being fitted.

Available in 10 models in five variants of power ranging from 12 to 35kW, the range includes three combi versions, five system models and two wall-hung storage combi options, which are all defined by an electronic management system designed to suit both single and dual systems.

Complete with an easy-to-use backlit dual interface digital control panel, with separate areas for both the end user and installer, the Murelle EV HE also boasts a host of features and extras to make installation siting more flexible.

Fully compatible with renewable technologies and optional weather compensation controls, Murelle EV HE is also environmentally-friendly, achieving over 90% seasonal efficiency and being rated SEDBUK band A.

This is made possible by an advanced combustion system that extracts the most heat possible from burnt gas, resulting in the highest levels of efficiency and reduced CO2 emissions. In addition, the boilers boast a sophisticated pre-mix system which, together with constant temperature monitoring to ensure the boiler output is always perfectly matched to demand, helps to significantly bolster efficiency levels.

Paul Linley, Sime’s managing director, said: “We decided to offer the 10-year warranty to promote best practice and eradicate illegal installations and it is available only to Gas Safe registered engineers who notify installation via Gas Works Notification. As an extra benefit to customers, the warranty can also be passed on if they decide to sell their home, thus acting as a benefit that can be stated in future house sales.”
