Hansgrohe has announced the appointment of Jonathan Burns to the full-time position of training manager.

Previously a role that was shared within the company, this latest appointment means a dedicated focus on training and development, which will result in more effective provision for both Hansgrohe customers and internal staff.

A key element of Jonathan’s role will be to develop and deliver the current training programme for customers including the latest installer courses which are already proving popular, with only a few remaining spaces for 2010.

The full-time focus will allow Jonathan to proactively consider future training needs and also respond to current customer requirements. In future, for example, it may be possible to take some courses out to customer’s premises with the help of the Hansgrohe liveried vehicle, which is fully-equipped with working models of the latest product innovations.

Jonathan is also carrying out detailed analysis to establish internal needs and looks forward to playing an active role in skills development and training across all key departments.
