Plumbing Trade Supplies (PTS), part of the plumbing and heating division of the Travis Perkins Group, has appointed Matthew Mycock as its new managing director.
Based at the company’s head office in Crick, Matthew is leading PTS’ programme of investment as it focuses on large contract customers.
Previously working in the retail and service industries, Matthew has gained an experience of the underpinning principles that are also important to PTS, namely high service levels through multiple sites, complex logistics, and diverse products for different sized customers.
Matthew said: “I’m delighted to be joining PTS at a time of investment and change. Our main focus is to action a number of ambitious plans to create an industry-leading service for the UK’s large plumbing and heating contracts.
“My previous roles also had an emphasis on meeting high expectations by delivering a complex product on time and directly to the customer. Applying this to PTS will be key in realising our aim of providing a best-in-class offering for the requirements of large projects.”
