A few weeks ago, Machmade were looking at the crowdfire app and saw a great story that they thought that people should know about that involves an inspirational leadership teacher, a newly formed charity called Formidable Joy and a philanthropic plumber called Eric from Ohio.

Cindee from Formidable Joy, who lives in LA, California and Eric are both motivated people who met at the Tony Robbins Business Mastery event in Las Vegas in August 2017. Eric was so inspired by Cindee that he decided to help fund a new water well in Malawi giving up to 1000 villagers clean water for the first time. The work was completed on Labor Day (3 September).

Machmade Dyno’s directors had been on Tony Robbins events too and were amazed at how this whole Formidable Joy project is progressing. Machmade Dyno plumbing manager, Steve Cosgrove, is doing his bit by running a number of 10k’s and marathons this year to raise money for Formidable Joy.

Reg Illingworth, of Machmade, said: “Making our living in water, we were pleased to be able to help disadvantaged villagers in Malawi have access to clean water for the first time.

“We intend to keep a close interest in Formidable Joy and the people it helps and look forward to providing a number of wells in Malawi.”

Reg added that Machmade will be interviewing a water driller soon, while also doing livestream events so that our work colleagues and people who donate can see the changes made in their villager’s lives.
