HaMuch, a new, pioneering comparison service for tradespeople, has partnered with a group of industry’s leading companies as it prepares its official launch.

The London-headquartered company has received support from 11 manufacturers and companies, which serve the various trades, including Grundfos, Danfoss, Fernox, Franke, Polypipe and WAGO.

Representatives from HaMuch, as well as a number of its partners, gathered at Grundfos’ Leighton Buzzard head office for a pre-launch event for HaMuch’s sponsors, as well as an introduction to the service.

HaMuch is set to be launched throughout the UK to the general public in October.

HaMuch, which is the only service of its kind to supply the hourly and daily rates of tradespeople signed up to the service, has been created to help the trades secure work by being clear on price.

It also allows customers to post feedback and rate the particular tradesperson or provider, as well as a platform for tradespeople to showcase their services.

According to research conducted by HaMuch, more than half of tradespeople (56%) revealed that the most common question they are asked by customers is based on the cost of their services.

Tarquin Purdie, founder and managing director of HaMuch, said: “Cost is clearly one of the highest priorities for customers when choosing a service and HaMuch is a great tool for accessing this information, as well as supporting tradespeople in the process.

“The feedback and support we have received from some of industry’s leading players has been fantastic, and we are now hoping to build on our existing relationships with our partners, as we prepare to roll out HaMuch officially in October. Our aim is to support tradespeople secure work and help people find reputable professionals to carry out required work or maintenance.”

Tim Wilkes, director of marketing at Grundfos, added: “The proposition that HaMuch offers is really well thought through and the team there have focused on ensuring the experience for consumers and trades will be really easy and rewarding.”

Tradespeople signed up to HaMuch, who are members of its official partners’ specific trade clubs or similar schemes will also receive premium listings on the HaMuch website.
